It’s pretty sad when a gay person calls YOU gay for going to a baby shower…

So here’s some tips for you future lucky men that get to attend baby showers:

1.) wrap the gift…not in the original Amazon box.
2.) take the shipping label off of the said amazon box
3.) don’t use christmas wrapping paper
4.) don’t use a big marker to put your name on the wrapping paper
5.) ‘awwwwwwwwww’ and ‘ooooooooooo’ a lot when they start opening gifts.

I get a paycheck, get taxed 30% right off the bat. (a mix between state/city/federal/medicare/etc taxes)

My math might be off but, WTF.  So basically I don’t get reimbursed for something that is ‘free’, I wind up having to fork over money for something that is essentially free?!  Who has an accounting degree that can explain to me what happens here?!

I don’t mind paying taxes, it’s something I truly believe in.  It’s bullshit like this though that I don’t get.  Mind you both I AND my company gets taxed on that reimbursement.  Sign up for the fairtax initiciative .
